What ApplyDonkey does

ApplyDonkey is an AI-powered service that automates job applications. You provide your resume, portfolio details, and job preferences. We find matching job openings for you to review. When you choose to apply, our automated agent navigates to the employer's website and fills out the application form using the information you provided.

By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

Your account

  • You sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information in your portfolio. The agent submits this information to employers on your behalf.
  • We may suspend or ban your account if you misuse the service, submit false information, or violate these terms.

How the service works

  1. You build your portfolio: You upload your resume (PDF or DOCX) and fill in your details (work experience, education, skills, contact info, etc.).
  2. You set preferences: You specify the types of roles, locations, and companies you are interested in (or want to exclude).
  3. We find matching jobs: We search third-party job listing databases based on your preferences and surface matching openings.
  4. You decide what to apply to: You review each job listing and choose which ones to apply for. Nothing is submitted without your action.
  5. The agent applies for you: Our automated agent navigates to the employer's website, fills in the application form fields using your portfolio data, and submits the application.
  6. You get a record: We save a record of each application, including the form fields that were submitted, so you can review exactly what was sent.

Important limitations

  • Applications may fail: The agent interacts with employer websites that we do not control. Websites change their forms, add CAPTCHAs, or go offline. Some applications may fail, and we will mark them accordingly.
  • No guarantee of employment: ApplyDonkey submits applications. We do not guarantee interviews, responses, or job offers. Hiring decisions are entirely up to employers.
  • AI-assisted form filling: The agent uses an AI model to interpret form fields and fill them with your data. While it aims for accuracy, it may occasionally misinterpret a field. You can review what was submitted for each application.
  • Third-party websites: We interact with employer websites and job boards that have their own terms. You are responsible for ensuring you comply with those terms.

Your responsibilities

  • All information in your portfolio must be accurate and truthful. The agent submits this to real employers.
  • You must only apply to jobs you are genuinely interested in.
  • You must not use ApplyDonkey to spam employers, submit fraudulent applications, or violate any laws.
  • You are responsible for the content of your applications. ApplyDonkey is a tool acting on your behalf.

Plans and billing

  • Free tier: 10 applications total, no credit card required.
  • Paid plans: Hustle ($19/month), Grind ($39/month), and Dominate ($69/month), with annual billing available at a discount (equivalent to 2 months free).
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
  • Application limits reset each billing period. Unused applications do not roll over.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you were charged in error.

Data and privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. Key points:

  • Your portfolio data is sent to an AI model (Google Gemini) to parse resumes and fill out application forms.
  • Your search preferences are sent to a third-party job listing service to find matching jobs.
  • Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never store your card details.
  • You can delete your data at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes all your information.

Intellectual property

You own your data. Your resume, portfolio content, and uploaded files remain yours. We do not claim ownership of any content you provide.

ApplyDonkey's code, design, branding, and documentation are our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Account termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, abuse of the service, or fraudulent activity. If we ban your account, we will provide a reason.
  • If your paid subscription is active when your account is terminated, you will not be charged further, but we do not guarantee a prorated refund for the remaining period.

Disclaimer of warranties

ApplyDonkey is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to make the service reliable, but we do not guarantee that applications will always be submitted successfully, that job listings will be accurate, or that the service will be available without interruption.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyDonkey is not liable for any missed job opportunities, incorrect application submissions, or damages resulting from the use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
